I thought I would add a little trivia to this blog starting with Rosa Peters, our grandmother whom we never knew. She was born in 1872 and died in May of 1915. She was married to Mathias Unfried on June 8, 1898, when she was 26 years old. She was 40 or 41 years old when Mom was born on August 23, 1912. (The month she was born was not listed.) She was 43 when Mom's brother Bill was born on May 10, 1915. For some reason I was surprised by this. Her parents were Bridget Fanning and Richard Peters. She had a brother Edward, and four sisters, Julia, Elizabeth, Ella, and Mrs. Andrew Folz . As you knowMrs. Andrew Folz is Mildred's mother, can you remember her first name?
